Although it is rated as being only a Four star Establishment in this review, please be aware that is only because the kitchen was closed when I arrived and has been unable to try the cuisine offered here!¡! Service and Atmosphere both receive Five stars and the food will receive a rating once I get to sample the menu. Big Ups and a huge Thank you for the courtesy provided by all of staff met this evening. As an update to the previous review, the food was better than I ever expected and has definitely earned a Five Star review 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Amazing food! Great friendly service! First time dining at this restaurant. Went here for my birthday dinner and we were not disappointed! We had mussels as an appetizer. They were cooked perfectly and the sauce was “dip worthy”. We also had the goat cheese and cranberry salad. Again, amazing! The flavor combination was perfect! And we had the pecan crusted halibut. Uhm. True perfection! We even had the cream brûlée for dessert. It was very creamy with the perfect toasted crystallized top. Oh, yeah, the garlic bread! Thick sixes or crispy toasted French bread with garlic butter oozing everywhere.

A rustic restaurant with a cabin feel. One of nicer places in Alpena. Server Ryan was excellent! Friendly, attentive and gave us some tips about sites to see. The food was pretty good. The complimentary Texas toast with garlic butter was a delight. We liked our overall experience.

Tonight was such an amazing experience!! From the house Italian salad dressing, to the Gorgonzola chicken and finishing with the crème brûlée I can’t say enough about all of the flavors! Not to mention, the service Jason provided… he made my mother’s birthday dinner top notch! I will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful night!

New to the area and decided to visit for our anniversary date night. We made a reservation and our table was ready when we got there. Loved the whole vibe of the place. Our server, Sam, was fantastic all night! She took such good care of us, and made us feel so welcome. Thank you!! The food was outstanding. The homemade garlic bread is dangerously good. We didn’t know it was complementary, or we wouldn’t have ordered the bruschetta app, but even that was so tasty - so no regrets! Great looking menu options. They were out of lamb chops but the Tornado steak was like butter and cooked to perfection - delicious. Shrimp risotto was also amazing. We were stuffed so took desserts home - chocolate cake and berry tiramisu that were both devine. We cannot wait to be back!!

Our waitress Eve was very good. On top of things. However, as you can see in the picture, the portion of my perch dinner was ridiculous. I've had appetizes larger than this. There were 4 tiny perch filets, and the lemon slice was larger than the filet!!.My baked potato was cold and The butter was even colder. However, my wife had a chicken dish, and it was very good she said. The atmosphere was so dark inside, I had to use my phone flashlight to read the menu. If I had known they were going to send Eve out with 4 minnow filets, I would of ordered something else. The first thing Eve said was they were out of a few dishes on the menu. Apprently, they forgot to tell her they were out of perch too.

Ambiance was great! Loved the eclectic style here. Service was fabulous and the Prime Rib was 'Wow!' 💃🏻. Juicy and cooked to perfection. Bursting with flavor! We will be back for sure! 😋 …

We were staying in Alpena and this was recommended. Delightful Server with a great sense of humor - and very attentive and professional. Food was great. Warm bread was addicting. I had the tuna poke bowl - best I’ve ever had. Hubby really enjoyed his Lasagna too.
